Currently, Phoenix 6554, Inc. offers one junior high and high school robotics program.
ONE ROBOT AT A TIME
With the help of generous sponsors, Phoenix Robotics is able to help empower this generation to become future leaders in the STEM industry. They achieve this goal through community outreach, sponsor partnerships, FRC® Robotics, and hands-on training in engineering, programming, CAD, and business with professional mentors in a student-driven environment.
The Phoenix Robotics Program is a multicultural community program and an International award winning FRC® team, with a high percentage of underserved, underrepresented, and low income minorities, consisting of 23 junior high & high school girls and boys from 14 different school districts.
PHOENIX Robotics aims to fill the void of the much needed STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programs in the Los Angles County and Orange County Community. Our goal is to continue to promote STEM education for junior high and high school girls and boys that until now, have not been available in this area.
This unparalleled opportunity provides student participants the chance to gain real world experiences in public relations, business, problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, programming, and engineering. Student participants are able to meet and work alongside professionals and collaborate as a part of a work force to accomplish goals. We want to develop leaders in the future STEM industry, who enjoy diversity and who exhibit cooperation and respect, while being gracious and professional in everything they do.
